When you plan a party, you want it to be flawless. What are the important aspects of a successful party, have you wondered? The most important factor is that a party should be making happy memories for guests and hosts to remember for a long time to come, or in some cases (like a wedding) even for life! A Professional DJ can help this become a reality! Delectable spreads of eatables are surely a huge attraction. But would guests eat all the time? Of course not! Herein comes the entertainment factor. And the soul and life of an entertainment programme is usually a DJ.

Weddings & Parties, as well as other special occasions, can be successful if you hire the right wedding & party DJ in Perth, or wherever you are based, from a reputable company. The DJ’s from these companies are equipped with skills and experience for providing a personalised service to make your special occasion highly enjoyable and fun to be at.

Why should you consider hiring a Professional DJ?

Calling in a favour from a friend to host your event may help save a few bucks. So, why waste money on a professional DJ? Was this question lurking in your mind? Donโ€™t give it a chance to nest in your thoughts! You surely shall change your mind once you read these many aspects that a professional DJ canโ€‹ โ€‹addโ€‹ โ€‹toโ€‹ โ€‹yourโ€‹ โ€‹event!

Trainingโ€‹ โ€‹andโ€‹ โ€‹Experience:

Being a DJ might seem like an easy task, but it has many technicalities. The major part of being a successful event DJ is running the equipment. Other aspects include speaking to the people at the event to engage the public, being familiar with a huge variety of songs and music and keeping guests entertained, along with many other skills.

To become a professional DJ, a good DJ needs to go through a long rigorous apprenticeship programme, where they learn the above-mentioned skills. The apprenticeship programme teaches them how to use the equipment properly, scrutinise the acoustics of a room and so much more. Allโ€‹ of โ€‹ โ€‹ this โ€‹ โ€‹ โ€‹skillโ€‹ โ€‹mightโ€‹ โ€‹beโ€‹ โ€‹absentโ€‹ โ€‹inโ€‹ โ€‹aโ€‹ โ€‹novice,โ€‹ โ€‹whichโ€‹ โ€‹mightโ€‹ โ€‹makeโ€‹ โ€‹theโ€‹ โ€‹eventโ€‹ โ€‹not so successful. Thus,โ€‹ โ€‹itโ€‹ โ€‹isโ€‹ โ€‹betterโ€‹ โ€‹toโ€‹ hireโ€‹ โ€‹aโ€‹ โ€‹professional,โ€‹ โ€‹asโ€‹ โ€‹theyโ€‹ โ€‹haveโ€‹ the โ€‹ โ€‹requiredโ€‹ โ€‹skillโ€‹ โ€‹set.

Peaceโ€‹ โ€‹ofโ€‹ โ€‹Mind:

Your friend might seem like a right person to take on the mic and interact with the crowd, or pump out one tune after the other; but under pressure will he/she do a good job?

At an event, a lot of things will happen at once, from guests asking for requests for strange. songs, to playing the tracks in the right order, to pepping up the atmosphere. So, do you want to keep worrying about how the evening will work out, or do you want to relax and enjoy the party?

If you want the latter, then hire a professional, they have been to numerous events and canโ€‹ handle all โ€‹โ€‹the โ€‹pressure easily โ€‹ โ€‹ with aโ€‹ โ€‹level headโ€‹ and aโ€‹ โ€‹cheerful โ€‹manner.

Reliability:

Suppose you hire your friend or an amateur DJ, and they get cold feet at the last moment.

What will you do then? Transportation problems could also arise for a novice, who has no idea about what needs to be done for hassle-free transportation of equipment. This can be a huge blow to the success of your event. On the other hand, a professional DJ has been through it all. He/she will know what aspects might go wrong and how to ensure that theโ€‹ โ€‹eventโ€‹ โ€‹isโ€‹ โ€‹aโ€‹ โ€‹successโ€‹ โ€‹withโ€‹ โ€‹minimumโ€‹ โ€‹hassles.

Professionalism:

Every event has its set of protocols โ€“ be it a corporate event or a pool party; a wedding or an engagement party. Each event demands a particular type of conduct, or even dress standard. Professionals have the experience to take everything in their stride, along with various other aspects of allowing enough time to set up before the event starts, testing equipment beforehand, so on and so forth. You cannot expect to get this level of professionalism from a novice, giving a professionalโ€‹ โ€‹DJโ€‹ โ€‹manyโ€‹ โ€‹advantageousโ€‹ โ€‹brownieโ€‹ โ€‹points.

Is hiring professional DJ’s a better idea than amateur DJ’s?

Whether you think of quality service, or of economising โ€“ hiring a professional is always the best option.

It is not always about how much you spend. It is about how you maximise returns from what you spend and more so, value for money. Would you like some beautiful memories of your event? A professional DJ helps to create just that, by creating the mood and maintaining the momentum from start to finish; making everyone happy — guests and hosts alike.

I really like how you said that a professional DJ can handle the pressure of a crowd easily and in a cheerful manner! I have a friend who is getting married soon and she was thinking of hiring a DJ for the event. She doesn’t handle crowds well and it would be nice if a DJ could help handle the people there so she can enjoy her night!

Thanks for the comment Deb. Yes I agree, some people are just not cut out to do it – or it could just be a case of some people wanting to focus on enjoying their party! I hope the wedding goes well x

My cousin is getting married in a few months, so she’s been looking for a DJ to help her out. I really like that professional DJs needs to undergo a rigorous apprenticeship, as it shows that they will have all the needed skills and experience. I’ll definitely share this article with her, so she can find a great professional DJ.
