Recently, with lockdowns and a lot of life changes, we have got out of routine. Somedays seem harder than others and the children’s behaviour goes from brilliant to frustrated and tired quite quickly. We have explored a lot of ways to try and bring a little more routine and happiness to our days. One of my favourite changes is bringing back bedtime reading and In the book have helped us do this.

I have introduced a back to basics routine, like when the kiddies were younger; after dinner I thought we’d get back to basics; bathtime, hair wash and a bedtime story. There’s something to be said about the kiddies bedtime routine: washing Islas hair was a nice time to bond and I miss the days where I bathed them every night and covered them in talc after wards.

Disney and Marvel personalised books

The kiddies names are printed on the cover, on each page and they have a special introduction page with their photo on it. They’re beautiful books and the kids loved them. It was nice hearing them talk about their books together, it stopped the negative mood that had lingered all day. It wasn’t long before they were both yawning.

Isla received the Disney Princesses The Ultimate Collection Personalised Book, it is £29.99. You can add a name, introduction message and a photo for the first page as personalisation. It is a great book as all of Isla’s favourite Disney Princess characters are in one place, in the book! Relive the magical tales that made every Disney princess a household name, from Snow White and Cinderella, to Pocahontas and Mulan; all the way to Tianna and Rapunzel. Isla just loves these stories so much.

Noah received the Marvel’s The Infinity Saga Storybook Collection, it is also £29.99. You can add a name, introduction message and a photo for the first page as with the above book. It is a great book and takes you through phase one to three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We spent the first lockdown watching the Marvel movies in chronological order, so Noah really loves reading the stories too and reliving the fun. It covers the first appearance of the mind stone, The First Avenger, Bruce Banner’s experiment all the way to the Guardian’s of the Galaxy, Ragnarok and Thanos’ arrival, this Marvel storybook collection is the ultimate gift for a Marvel film fanatic.

Both books came in a beautiful keepsake box and that added extra “wow” for the kids; they thought it was brilliant their books were special. These would make a great gift for any book lover, perfect for birthdays and Christmas too. In the book have many other fun children’s personalised books on their site, including educational books and nursery rhymes. You can filter by age, gender and character – so finding the perfect book is quick and easy.
