I love our weeks away for New Year, we always see the New Year in with fresh air and great friends. We also close the year off too. It’s lovely. Yesterday we went to see the waterfall at High Force, it was a half hour drive from the farmhouse where we are staying. It’s meant to be the largest waterfall in the UK. It looked amazing.

It’s only a half hour walk from the car park to get to the waterfall so the kids were happy with the distance. It was lovely to see Noah getting involved and watching the streams and asking questions about the waterfall. Isla was still poorly but she did point and looked amazed by the waterfall.

The views were amazing and I wish we had more time to spend just staring at it and listening to the waterfall.

We took the opportunity to get some selfies though, it’s a must really isn’t it?
