With Valentine’s Day just around the corner l have been given this beautiful shell pearl necklace from Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, who are the UK’s leading bespoke jewellery design company, to give away to one of my readers.

The winner is Daniela Pedras. Congratulations.

Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery has two award-winning bespoke design studios in Cambridge and Hertfordshire and creates unique commissions with customers from all over the world.

They specialise in engagement rings and wedding rings, so Valentine’s Day marks a very busy time in their calendar but they also design a large number of eternity rings.

Harriet Kelsall, who still runs her eponymous jewellery company, says that lots of her customers choose eternity rings to mark the birth of a new baby. I love this idea as you can use birthstones to commemorate your new baby or all the children in your family, and many of the commissions at Harriet Kelsall feature birthstones and engravings.

Here are a few examples of recent eternity rings  designed by Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery.

If you’re looking for a special gift for Valentine’s Day this year, why not think about commissioning a bespoke eternity ring?

Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery also offers a fantastic idea aimed at those who don’t want to risk designing a ring for their other half – their Commission in a Box.

The jewellery box, finished with a ribbon, can include some sketches or a sparkly stone with which to present to your special someone. The box also includes an appointment card, information about the designer you would be working with and the makers who would be making the ring by hand. The perfect way to surprise your Valentine with a bespoke commission without running the risk of getting it wrong!

To be in with a chance of winning this stunning pendant, simply answer the following 3 questions in 1 comment below:

  1. Who this necklace will be for? (Yourself, a family member or you are going to keep it for a rainy day)
  2. What your plans are for Valentines Day?
  3. What is your favourite item of Jewellery from Harriet Kelsall?

Thank you for entering this competition, it closes Valentines Day (Friday 14th November 2014) at 23:59.

Do you know what I’m going to be selfish for once & keep it for myself. Most of the things I win go to the family, children or grand children, but just occasionally, very occasionally, I keep something for myself.

No plans for Valentines Day hubby coaches archery on a Friday night but we are off out with some of our friends on Saturday night & hubby surprised me today with a lovely bunch of flower.

I love this ring but I’d ask for a garnet stone as thats my birthday stone.

It will be for my girlfriend.

On valentines weekend we’ll go away for a weekend in the highlands to celebrate our anniversary and valentines day. If I could present her this gift it would make the weekend so great!

I’d love the Unique handmade diamond and platinum bridal ring set. But that’s a bit out of my league for the price hehe. 😉

This would be for my partner. We’re getting married this year via a Pagan Handfasting and it would be lovely to surprise her with this gorgeous necklace.

Valentines Day will be spent with each other. It’ll be nice to spend time chatting.

My favourite jewellery are the rings HK are making for us at the moment. Really looking forward to seeing the engagement ring and wedding bands 🙂

I think I would give it to my mum, she’s a bit fed up as dad has been at home with flu and tonsilitis.

We are getting a KFC actually! My eldest asked as it’s last day of school before half term.

A lovely keepsake Valentine’s Day necklace for my mum all the way in Australia (and it’s affordable too, hint, hint).

I’m a sucker for Harriet Kelsall jewelry, especially on Valentine’s Day, but not so stoked about the expensive pricetags. But seeing this generous competition by Harriet Kelsall and Mummy Constant, if I were to win, I would feel like Oprah.

“You get a necklace! And you get a necklace!” which is pretty much not a joke, considering they start at just £500. Nice! So lovely for my mum, especially with the pearls as she is a June baby added for bonus points. Yes, that was a hint.

This Valentines Day will be spent with dinner and French wine in the company of my boyfriend at a secret location (probably will be booked last minute on Valentines Day), which, I’m not to know until then.

The red heat-treated diamond engagement ring is my favourite item because it’s elegant, simple, and beautiful and a girl’s best friend is of course, a diamond!
