Did you know it is World Stationery Day in a couple of weeks, 25th April 2018? To celebrate I thought it was only fair to share my favourite stationery and tips for making the perfect list. Lists to some are what nightmares are made of, but if you do it properly they can be your best friend. There are a lot of reasons for doing lists, not just to be organised, but also to help focus your mind. Doing something that is brain friendly has got to be the right, hasn’t it? I so often go to write Brian friendly. Maybe that’s what we should name it…
I adore Paperchase, I always look on their website for inspiration on what’s hot and what looks great. This year it was all about the bright colours and flamingos. Not forgetting the unicorns and the aubergine bauble! I decorated every room with a splash of colour and it looks brilliant.
With the kiddies returning to school last week. I had to feature some of the amazing products from Paperchase. I squealed when Noah and Isla received their goody’s. Monkeys and Bananas for Noah. Unicorns and Hello Kitty for Isla. I am in love with the themed back to school items at the moment. I really wish I had fun stuff like this when I was a kid. I secretly do want Isla’s lunch box to take to work with me. That’s OK. Isn’t it?
I love stationery. In fact, I feel I may have an unhealthy obsession with it. I have pens just because I liked the look of the pen. Admittedly it isn’t an expensive obsession, which is a bonus! National stationery week (my favourite kind of week) is a great week to celebrate my love for pens and all things stationery. Pen Heaven have some fabulous products that are just perfect for a special gift for someone (or to top up your stationery collection).
I love Spring time, it is my favourite season of them all and I probably said that about Autumn too. I love the colours, the sunnier weather, the breathe of fresh air and the feeling of cleanliness. Everything just seems clean, the Spring clean must just get under my skin and inspires me. Not only do I love Spring, but I love stationery. What better way to combine some of my favourite things. Katie Leamon cards have put a huge smile on my face today as they are just the most beautiful cards and notecards.
