It was a lovely morning making cookies with Isla. We had the Royal Wedding footage on in the background and we paused every now and then to take in the amazing sights of the wedding. Meghan looked absolutely stunning. I am so happy for them both, what an amazing day in history!
We had a busy day today, work was busy and afterwards we took the dogs for a walk and had chill out time in the garden. I love it when Isla gets all of her toys out on to a picnic blanket in the garden, she is great at imaginative play.
Not only did I get my hair cut today, so did Snoopy. He’s had his Summer cut and they have left his feathers. He looks so handsome and like a puppy all over again. It must feel lovely for him to have a short cut again. I had my hair cut shorter too, its the first time in a good few years that I have wanted it cut. I fancied a change.
We had a nice walk in the park after school, it was quite chilly though compared to other days recently. I actually felt cold. I didn’t have my hat on though (you’ll be pleased to know). The sun was trying to push through, but the wind was really chilly. It was nice seeing the kiddies running free together.
Today was a busy one, work was busy and then I had to take Snoopy to Newmarket to see the eye specialist. I got home later than I thought I would. Isla had had fun at Rainbows, they sang Happy Birthday. She was chuffed. Noah played football with Daddy whilst Isla was at Rainbows. He had lots of fun.
For most people, education stops at school, but to continue improving your skills in later life, lifelong habits are key to being successful and more productivity in both work and play. Continuing to learn in later life can have huge benefits on both your body and mind, as keeping an active mind helps to keep an active body. Getting into good habits with continuous learning can also boost your abilities in a working environment and opens you up to new experiences and opportunities. Taking courses and workshops at any time in life is also a great way to meet new people and interact with others with similar interests to broaden your horizons.
We had a busy day today and it was beautifully sunny. I love this weather as it’s still quite a chill but lovely midday. I also love the sunsets. This is at Hospital where we’d visited my grandma who broke her hip last week. Glad to say she’s doing very well.
Isla has had a fab day. She woke up very early and had pancakes for breakfast with her best friend. I then took them to the Cinema and to Shakie Jakes for a yummy milkshake. Noah did really well at football too. I didn’t have a great afternoon though, I suddenly felt really tired (around lunchtime). Like someone was trying to force me to go to sleep. It suddenly dawned on me I had started taking a new antihistamine and it must have reacted. No more antihistamines for me!
Tonight Isla had her best friend to stay over. She had fun playing with all of her toys including the ones that come with glitter. We had a few accidents, one of them involving the glitter! Lets just say I had to sweep up. A lot! 🙂 But, it was nice seeing them have fun and their big smiles made it all worth it.
