I love a bucket list, most of the time I do not write them down. I am one of those people that until the very last moment, everything is an opportunity. Recently I have been thinking about family festivals. We have only experienced this once with the children. It wasn’t a music festival or anything, it was Blogstock. It gave us a little taster of what a bigger festival would be like.
You may remember at the end of January I had an incredible #FeelFresh experience in London, thanks to Lights by TENA. They pulled out all the stops to make sure we had a day “feeling fresh” and learning how to make our own fragrance. It was a really great day and I got to meet some lovely bloggers. It was nice to take a day out and try something new: with a glass of champagne in my hand most of the day.
As you may have noticed across my social media channels, it was our wedding anniversary on Monday. Hubby and I had an extremely lucky opportunity. Not only did we get a weekend of no children and no pets (actual alone time). Sometimes its not all about the family activities. Sometimes you need a bit of grown up time. We got to spend our weekend at the most fantastic place, with great food and a beautiful room: Bosworth Hall and Spa. Bosworth Hall and spa is a fabulous hotel owned by Britannia Hotels. We had such a lovely weekend relaxing, but making the most out of the hotel and spa facilities. It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary weekend.
As some of you may have seen, Carnival Cruise Lines took the Fun Seeking Mummies for afternoon tea to the very luxurious The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge yesterday. It was a great opportunity to meet the other bloggers taking part again, discuss the cruise details and the plans for when we are aboard our fabulous holiday. It’s amazing how close it seems to the day we set sail.
Traveling abroad can be a relaxing, soothing tonic for the mind and body. Delicious meals, spa treatments and exotic scenery can be incredibly calming, especially after months of hectic career and family engagements. However – travel isn’t always a sanctuary away from stress. In fact, it has been shown that for many people, vacations can be the most stressful time of the year.
What is your favourite city? There are so many beautiful places to choose from, but London holds so many memories that it has to be the first choice. We have been many times, as a family, as a couple and with our friends to have lots of fun. Who wouldn’t love it?
We were sent this game to play with the family, we love property games and have spent many hours playing them over the years on our family holidays, Christmas Day and with friends over New Year. Now we have a new game to add to the mix, Hotel Tycoon.
Award winning QHotels are running a fantastic competition to be a#QHotelsFamilyAmbassador and we leapt at the chance to enter. After spending two weeks in a holiday suite with the tots, thinking about how to entertain them when in the room was something that was on my mind daily. Thankfully I had thought about this before hand I took things with us to help keep them occupied. So when I saw this competition, it was just a chance to write down everything I had been thinking about.
