While San Francisco only covers 7 miles in all, it is filled to the brim with numerous interesting activities to keep anyone interested. Given the long list of popular places to visit, it’s helpful to narrow down the options to help fit as much into a limited stay in the city. Here are the five best things to do in San Francisco. Golden Gate Bridge The iconic Golden Gate Bridge with its tell-tale orange arches is a standout attraction in the city. Some visitors like to travel or walk across the bridge, but most people prefer to see it from various vantage points and take well-placed selfies too. The bridge connects Marin Country with San Francisco to make it easier to travel between them. Incidentally, the name of the bridge refers to the Golden Gate Strait which runs below it. The majestic spectacle of the Golden Gate seen from afar is perhaps best seen from the Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point. The Golden Gate National Recreation Area features San Mateo, Muir Woods, and other recreational areas are worth a look too. […]
I love shopping, but in this heat you want a shop that has it all and a great online shop to boot! Debenhams have a jam packed holiday shop, everything from luggage, clothes and accessories to make sure your Summer is the best. In one stop I ordered aftershave, clothes for Daddy and the children, a hat for Mummy and luggage. Great for busy Mum’s trying to get sorted for the annual Summer holiday.

For one thing, kids get bored so easily that there needs to be more than just their iPad to keep them entertained. In this world of mass media and short attention spans, it takes something special to truly impress them. As for their parents, we’re not that easily impressed either. It’s a bit of a challenge.
Going on holiday for us is not all about airports and hours of travelling across the world. We have fabulous memories of holidays that we’ve taken right here in the UK. Over Easter we went away to Norfolk, a really short drive and we had a fabulous holiday. We went away with friends too which was really fun.
Admit it: travelling with the whole family can sometimes be a pain. Even though you endlessly enjoy their company, carrying around bulky prams and coordinating your child’s every move can be exhausting work. Thankfully we have got out of the pram stage now, but there are times where I wish I still had it. Most cases with our family, we mean our little furry friends too, and there are times where you wonder whether or not you could bring your pet along.
I have so many adventures planned this year already; with a European break and somewhere a little further afield on the horizon, I have officially caught the wanderlust bug. Recently, whilst thinking of all the places I’d like to visit over the next few years, one style of trip that really appeals to me is a cruise after the fun we had last August. Depending on the package, you have the option to see a selection of cities, and when it comes to seeing more of Europe, I think this is a better way than booking individual trips. We loved doing this when we did our cruise. If you’re not convinced, here are my top reasons why:
