We went for a lovely walk after our BBQ, the boys and Isla went to play football whilst Mumma, my sister and I took the pooch for a walk. It was lovely. A nice cool evening after a very hot day! I think I almost melted at one point… It was great that England won too.
Today Isla had her first horse riding lesson and she loved it. She had a great big smile on her face. I was nervous she would be frightened. But she wasn’t at all. Afterwards we went to Norfolk to a friends bbq and had great fun in the hot tub and trampoline. Summer has officially started.
This was my lunch spot today, just outside my offices are wild flower meadows. It looks really pretty in the summer. It was nice to sit and relax, albeit by the staff car park. We went for a lovely meal at The George in Spaldwick in the evening. Very yummy meal. Totally recommend it!
We had another playdate this evening, which was rather amusing. I cooked the right things but served up the wrong things. It was a long day! I had a leaving presentation to do at work as my report left the team and a meeting with the executive management team. No wonder my brain had stopped by the evening.
We didn’t have Rainbows this evening so we had a friend over instead. Noah had great fun with his friend Sonny. They played cars, Lego and on the trampoline. It was so lovely to see them playing together. Isla felt a little left out though, she wrote a note to Daddy saying she wasn’t having much fun!
Today was lovely at lunchtime, so I made the most of it and sat out in the sunshine. I love my lunchbox – sad aren’t i? This is my favourite one from Paperchase. It was nice to sit outside and get some fresh air. We had a nice evening dog walk after work.
Today Daddy and Noah had a football tournament, Daddy had to stay all day to help out and the kiddies and I spent some time with Great Grandma and Great Uncle Stephen. We played Hedbanz – it’s such fun! After Daddy finished we went to Pizza Express and had a yummy meal together. This was our post evening meal photo 🙂
Today we celebrated Fathers Day because Daddy will be at the football tournament all day tomorrow. We went to the park and played with hula hoops, footballs and we all went on Daddy’s Kayak – even Mummy! I was really nervous but once I got over the fear that I wouldn’t drown it was lovely. So peaceful out on the river.
We had a fun evening at our friends, eating and drinking Spanish themed food/drink and watching the World Cup. We had a really fun night and I didn’t get to bed until 2am. I didn’t think I had that kind of fight left in me anymore… but apparently I do. (I am writing this the next morning).
