The doggies enjoyed a nice evening walk with little Isla. It didn’t rain tonight which was a bonus. I caught up with my Sky Q recordings today: the finale of American Crime Story, The Assassination of Versace has blown me away. It’s fab! Everyone should watch it.
We had a quick and exciting dog walk tonight as it started to rain very hard on us. The kids thought it was hilarious though. They really enjoyed the quick run. The dogs did too. I am grateful they enjoy looking after our furbabies.
Today was a busy one, I didn’t get out of work until 3:15pm (this is when the kids come out of school), so I was very late picking them up and felt horrific. We were then late for Rainbows. You can imagine, it just set the tone for the rest of the evening. Daddy picked up a new trampoline for the kiddies tonight though, so they are very excited for that. They probably will ask every 5 minutes when it will be ready! Noah showed me a pond he’d found with silly Grandad last week. I had no idea it existed. It’s amazing how much you can learn from your little ones.
Whilst Noah was at Beavers, we took the doggies for a walk around Paxton Pits. Noah did pond dipping there so it made sense to all walk the doggies at the same time. So excited to hear the news about the new baby Prince. I felt so emotional when I watched William & Kate show off their new bundle.
Today Isla cycled by herself when we went out on another family bike ride. I’m so impressed. She cycled 7.7 Miles this week, without complaint. We stopped at the park for our picnic and the pub for a fizzy drink. It was a lovely lunchtime. We then went to Nannas for dinner which was nice and chilled. Well, once the kiddies had calmed down.
Today we had a busy day: we finished some gardening and Daddy took a whole car full of dead bushes/plants to the tip. We then went to a nearby rape seed field to get some sunset photos. I just love these kinds of photos. The kids were not in the mood really but we did eventually get some lovely photos. This is a sneak peek…
Today we had our first BBQ of the year and our first one with no meat, at all! Since January, Hubby has not eaten meat and he is going strong. Hubby eats fish though, unlike me. Noah still eats meat, his decision and Isla doesn’t really understand it all yet and eats a little bit of meat here and there. She is very fussy though, like I was when I was a meat eater. It’s nice to sit in the sunshine and enjoy the birdies singing.
What a day! I spent the morning sorting out the front and back garden, it was very hot to do that kind of manual labour but I had to do it. Then my poor Rambo started passing blood, which caused worry all day. Vets have said it’s just an inflamed colon. Poor boy. Then I had my speed awareness course in the evening. Which was an eye opener. I’m going to write about that separately.
After school we went to Great Grandmas and the kiddies had a lovely picnic dinner in the sunshine. It was so nice to sit outside in sunshine, albeit the kiddies got a little too hot. It’s so nice to have the sunshine, everything seems prettier and everyone seems happier.
Today was the first day back after a long Easter holidays. The kids were very ready to get back to school. I couldn’t believe how the school runs hit me, I had forgotten how far the walk is. Heels and school runs do not mix haha. Silly Grandad came over after school, so whilst Isla was at Rainbows Noah played football at the park. They are both very tired now and Grandad! Oh and I have an offer for my lovely readers 30% off full price items at The Body Shop, whoop whoop!
