Poor little Isla couldn’t sleep in her own bed, it was too hot. So she came and got in with me, it was nice to have some company as Daddy has been sleeping downstairs – too hot for him too! Its amazing, this heat came out of no where, it was raining and miserable two weeks ago. Not complaining though.
This morning Daddy and Noah had a lot of fun, they booked onto Ride Leisure at Wyboston Lakes and completed the many activities of the inflatable assault course. Check out the video on my Instagram which demonstrates Daddy catapulting Noah 10ft into the air, bless him. But he enjoyed it and got home and asked Daddy to do it again.
We whooshed over to Letchworth Splash Park today, it was funny as there were 3 other children from school there. I wish we had something like this in St Neots – it’s a brilliant idea. The children had fun running and splashing in the water and the grown ups had fun watching. It’s nice to see them happy. It was a last minute decision as we had planned on camping. It all went out of the window!
After being inside for the entire day at work, it was lovely to get out in the open and soak up some sun rays. It makes me feel happy. This particular part of the park just looks so amazing, I could be in the middle of countryside (not a town). It’s amazing how these little pockets of green make you feel better.
Today my lovely photos arrived from Cheerz, a pack of 20 prints with a matt finish and a white border. I love prints with borders and the matt finish makes them look better quality. They also offered a code for my readers, so you can get a fab discount on your first order: SONCO0 (that’s a letter O and a number zero). I love them and can’t wait to hang them up in the house.
Today Nanna had dinner with the kiddies whilst Mummy helped Daddy pass his fitness instructor course. I had to complete an assessed induction at a gym. It was great. I got to learn about a lot of new kit I’d never used!
Today is a special day for two reasons, firstly it is our god-daughters birthday and secondly little Noah was invested into beavers. He loved it and looked very sweet when saying his vows. A nice day to remember it on!
Just to prove that the kiddies do not want to have a lovely family photo, all of the time! This photo makes me giggle, Noah was being very mischievous and Isla kept following suit too. It was a nice day on the beach, fresh air and really warm too.
With Noah at a Beavers funday (earning his very first badge), little Isla had the garden and the fur babies all to herself. She enjoyed playing chase with Rambo and there was a cute moment where she flopped on the floor and Rambo just sat with her. He loves cuddles with Isla and Noah. Only when they are still though. Noah really enjoyed his day, he was so excited about his badge and the fact he went to the shop on his own and got Cola and Sweets – not what I thought the money was for. But hey ho!
