This is a brilliant recipe for adding a little spice and fruit to your Easter baking. I like the recipe as it’s a subtle drop of spice and yummy currants, the decoration is fun for the children and you can have these finished off within the hour. Isla enjoyed decorating the biscuits and eating the chocolate icing too, who wouldn’t? Dr Oetker have many Easter recipes online if you want to try some Easter baking with the children this weekend.
After watching Great British Bake Off, week two, last night, it has really got me in the mood for biscuits. I was sent some really interesting information from VoucherBox: The Great British Save Off, which has a yummy recipe and also a cost chart so you can see where you can save some money on buying the ingredients for the biscuits. So I saved a bit of money and also made these delicious gingerbread biscuits.
Today me and Isla had a nice morning at Wyevale garden centre in Huntingdon, where we made some yummy goodies in the little bug bakery for their Wildlife Week courtesy of Little Diggers. We had so much fun.

A new game Noah has learnt with daddy is emptying the ball pool 1 by 1 and throwing them anywhere in the lounge that you please! This was funny to begin with… I find balls all over my lounge in the most bizarre locations “how did he manage that?”. I found some under the fireplace protector this morning, i can only assume that this was actually placed there! He does love his ball pool. Well I think tonight, has to be the funniest random item I’ve found in the most random location… As you’ve probably guessed from the post title… yes it is to do with a digestive biscuit, which I found in my bath! Which I can only assume got there today when I took him up to the bathroom with me to clean my teeth etc! I didn’t realise he had the biscuit on him still and didn’t know he had put it in the […]
