I have to admit it was the potential of reviewing this book that gave me the inspiration for Isla Rae’s little bookworm corner. I love the Little Miss range and the Mr Men range, they are very clever and remind me of when I was a child. Little Miss Hug is launching today, the 35th book in the series and what a fantastic birthday treat for my little miss hug, Isla.

Isla loves reading through her special “cuggle” book as she calls it and discovering all the Mr Men characters along the way, she repeats their names as we make our way through the book. It is great for learning about them and learning words, she loves to learn things – she gives you this look as she points as the things on the page as if to say “what is this Mummy?”, I just know that she is going to soak all of this fantastic learning up and be such a clever little thing.
