Competitions Fun, educational games from Poki and a chance to win an Amazon Fire 15th November 201615th November 2016 If your children are anything like mine, they simply love playing on their tablets and they play a variety of different games. We recently came across an online educational gaming site which not only has hundreds of online games for the children, they are educational too. I would much rather them play the educational games, wouldn’t you? You can find an overview on Poki’s portal. The games are brilliant fun, well designed, great quality graphics and they really are educational. Even for me. If you know me well, you know I am terrible with geography and so I was drawn to the geography Europe game. Just to test how truly terrible I am, of course. I had no idea where Estonia was, but did get Netherlands correct. At least I knew the larger European countries. My total score ended up as 130, I need to practice I think! The children loved the speed miner game. You have to use the arrow keys to get further into the mine and it’s all timed. You get TNT blocks too which blow up when you press shift. The children got to grips with this game really quickly and Isla always asks if she can play on my Mac now and play speed miner. I did notice as we were playing games that they did display adverts beforehand, but I liked the way it told you that in order to offer the games for free they have to display the adverts. A clever way of advertising I thought. Also, I now want to get Isla Georgie the puppy. She would love having the real puppy all to herself! Win an Amazon fire Poki are giving one of my lucky readers the chance to win an Amazon Fire tablet worth £50. In order to win this tablet all you have to do is answer the questions in the competition window below: Poki The children love their Amazon Fire tablets, what better way than to win one for your little one this Christmas. The online educational games from Poki (find them here) would make for good fun over the Christmas holidays too, keep their little minds ticking over and having fun. Competition closes at midnight on 14 December 2016. Share this:TwitterFacebookPinterestGoogleEmailLike this:Like Loading...
