You may have read my gift guide for the kiddies the other day, well now its Mummy and Daddy’s turn. There are some great gift ideas for various people in your Christmas shopping list, including smellies, hot water bottles and good ole “fashion accessories”.
If you are looking for the perfect gift set for a loved one, the Yardley London English Lavender sets are great for aunties and grandmas. The talc and soap set is £9 and a great gift topper if you need one. The elemental herbology products are fabulous for stocking fillers, the rose gold gifts include the wonderful radiant skin set which are sure to perk up anyones Christmas morning. For the man in your life why not grab this travel set from the Real Shaving Co. it is perfect for trips away and contains facial scrub, shave cream and anti-ageing moisturiser.
Or maybe, like me, you have recently found your inner eyebrow designer skills and this new “no bare brows“, Know Cosmetics are a brand new range from North America, and a current bestseller at Sephora. You can now buy these in Superdrug stores up and down the Country, so grab one quickly at only £18! It comes with its very own sharpener attachment, brush, brow colour at one end and invisible taming wax at the other. Perfect.
What better fashion accessory than a beautiful tweed hot water bottle, they are new to Aromahome this year and they are absolutely stunning. They are very soft and snuggly, perfect for these cold and winter nights.
If you are looking for a watch for a lady in your life, WatchShop.com have a huge array of watches including this unisex Timex watch in tan. It is a great idea for an auntie or an uncle as it is unisex. Personally, I think this tan version looks great for a female and works with many fab colours out in the fashion stores at the moment.
Have you ever thought about creating something personalised for a loved one? You could create your own Christmas slogan and make your very own Christmas jumper. I had the idea of putting a funny Christmas quote from one of my favourite movies on the back of a snug hoodie, the whole thing cost £60 with delivery. The quality of the hoodie and the embroidery is amazi and it was delivered really quickly too.
Something special to watch
The DVD Me Before You is out to own now, what a perfect stocking filler this Christmas. I love Game of Thrones and I am really excited about watching this movie with Emilia Clarke. Experience the joy of what life and love have to offer with this global box office hit Me Before You, based on the critically acclaimed, best selling novel by Jojo Moyes. I remember seeing the trailers before it came out at the cinema and it looked brilliant.
The other movie choice for us this Christmas is “Pete’s Dragon” a reimagining of Disney’s cherished family film centered on an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot, who just so happens to be a dragon. Enjoy this heartwarming adventure just in time to entertain the entire family this Christmas, we are putting it in the childrens Christmas Eve box to watch with our glass of milk and chocolate chip cookies! How exciting.
Rattan Direct recently sent me a set of fabulous set of plant pots, I think they are really slick and on offer at the moment for under £200, these are perfect if you have gardening fans in your family. Or, as my mother in law suggested, she would use them for storage in the dining area of her home and I thought this was a great idea. You can see my example below of the pots in the conservatory:
What I love most about the pots is that they are all weather, so they do not get tired or fade over time when faced with the elements we get in England. They are incredibly good quality and well made! Inside they have smaller tubs, so that you do not need to fill them completely with compost and save some pennies in the long run. I am looking forward to seeing the bulbs sprout over the Spring season next year.
The dimensions of the pots are:
Large: W41cm x D41cm x H90cm.
Medium: W35cm x D35cm x H55cm.
Small: W30cm x D30cm x H45cm
I would love to know what is on your shopping lists this Christmas in the comments below.
