I had the chance to review a very special treat for a mummy to be, Aromatherapy Associates: Renew Rose Massage & Body Oil with MummyNews http://www.mummynews.co.uk.

Being a mummy to be for the second time, I have already had a few stretchmark’s around my belly button from the first time around, I have been looking for a product that will prevent any more from coming through and I think I may have found it, thanks to Mummy News. The oil came perfectly packaged and it comes in a very elegant box and the oil bottle itself feels very good quality, which is good as you want confidence in the product you are using is also good quality.

Renew Rose Massage & Body Oil is such a wonderful product, its a special treat every morning and evening when I rub it on my tummy. First of all its the smell that you notice, it smells heavenly, the rose scent with the evening primrose oil is a great combination. It carries the smell all day too, so when I get home from my busy day at work or running around after Noah, my tummy still smells gorgeous.

After using other products with my first pregnancy that did not stop stretch marks, I am very keen to not get any more and finding the right product is hard unless you have endless funds! Renew Rose Massage & Body Oil feels such high quality and it isn’t at all greasy, I can apply the oil and get ready straight away and it does not rub off on to my clothes and being rather bumpy at the moment, stretched clothes are hard to avoid! If like me, you have very little time to get ready in the morning and cannot spend hours in the bathroom pampering yourself, its just what you need. A quick pump of oil on the palm of my hand, rub it into my skin and get ready for my day, it couldn’t be quicker!

I have noticed a few things in the first week of using this product, firstly you do not need to use a lot to get a good quantity on your skin, the oil will last me for a long time which is great as that makes the price of approximately £36 good value for money. Other products I have used have cost around the £20 mark and have not lasted very long at all, if this oil lasts me up until May and beyond then I have definitely found the perfect oil for any expectant mother. Secondly, I noticed that my hands feel softer and I haven’t got any dry skin. With the crackling cold weather outside and pushing a pram, your hands do tend to get a little weathered. It is a great product to use if you have blemishes, my skin gets like that when pregnant, the oil has helped clear my skin up and make me feel like a new mummy!

You can purchase this oil from numerous websites online, for an average price of £36. I strongly recommend it if you are pregnant or not to be honest.
